Giving back to the local community

You can Win £500 for your local kids team...
Hey guys,
One of the greatest things about building a property portfolio is that you create enough money to do a few things that might be considered altruistic or philanthropic. It's something that I have always remembered from very early days of my portfolio was to give back a portion of what I earn. I believe it's called tithing?
It's always been a passion of mine to provide my time to tasks that are empowering to children. Back in Australia I ran motivational lectures to young adults that had been in jail and always found it a very rewarding experience. Here in the UK I have so many things on that I don't necessarily have the time to regularly contribute in this way so I have become a Princes Trust Gold Champion.
As a company, YourPropertyClub recently sponsored the Wolverines under 9s football team for their tracksuits and so I thought I would extend this to help our kids on a more regular basis. I feel a real responsibility that organisations should give back to their local community.
Here's how it will work
Up to £500 is available to organisation meeting the following criteria:
- Organisation involving kids under the age of 15,
- The organisation must be involved in a group activity (So chess or rubik's cube players stay away.),
- Must be taking part on a organised activity over a period of time greater than 4 weeks such as a educational or sports team,
- You accept that we need a photo of the team we are providing the funds to,
- Our logo must be displayed in some way,
- We must have a small advert or flyer that can be distributed to the parents of the children
- Any organisation in the UK is eligible!
How to Apply
Send a 1 page summary of who the organisation is, what they do, what the money will be used for and why the organisation should be chosen.
Each month I'll stick my hand into the pot and pull out one organisation and post the cheque. It's that simple.
We'll also post a write-up and a photo on our website in the news section.
So if you have a son or daughter that participates in an organised sport get in now and apply.
Live with passion,
Brett :-)
