What happens when your development burns down?

What happens when your development burns down?

Hey guys,

Well this is a first...

This morning we awoke to the news that our St Catherine's development has burnt down due to a 'suspected deliberate arson' event. Apparently a group of children who had a problem with the site beside ours decided it was a fun game to set fire to the site. We are not sure how bad the damage is and we're waiting for further details.

For those of you that have invested in this development the first thing to know is that you are totally covered and have no need to worry. The insurance will cover the rebuilding costs and all that it will mean is that the completion will be delayed. As this is an NHBC building site it must meet various guidelines and regulations and one of these is that the builder must have insurance on the property. So all that will happen is there will be a police investigation (as it is suspected arson) and the insurance assessor will inspect the foundations, the structure and anything that needs doing. They will then remove and rebuild. You won't have to worry about lasting damage as it will all be build as new. We'll keep you updated about the progress on this.

Live with passion,

Brett Wood
