The same me, rebranded

The same me, rebranded

Hey guys,

There comes a time in every boy's life when he meets the woman of his dreams and decides to get married. For me this is happening on the 25th of October 2008 in Sydney, Australia. We have a wonderful day planned with the ceremony being a cruise around Sydney Harbour followed by the reception at the Kirribilli club beside the Harbour Bridge.

It should be a perfect day and I have spoken with the weather man up in the sky and he's agreed also ... (which means that Arlene, my wife to be, can stop worrying now)

Now the other happy event is that I am publishing my book which is all finished and the first 30 proofing copies are due on Tuesday. It's been a four year adventure so an am excited about closing that off.

So good news all round except...

Arlene and I have decided to double barrel our names. So we will soon become Brett and Arlene Alegre-Wood. The problem is that publishing a book 4 months before you get married and change your name doesn't make much sense from a marketing perspective.

So I've decided to change my name early and publish the book under my new name. It will also make it easier for Arlene to accept our new name once we get married.

So if you see a new guy that looks like me but has a slightly different name don't worry it's still the same old me - just rebranded.

Live with passion,

Brett Alegre-Wood
